I got to watch the finale of American Idol earlier today instead of seeing it later tonight. Congrats to David Cook for winning! 
It was quite obvious that he’ll be bagging the award, IDK Archuleta seems to lack something. Cook’s voice is just more preferable for me, or maybe cause I favor ‘rockstars’ more? 
Well, in the end they are both winners and will be getting recording contracts anyway, not much difference eh? All for the best, a title is just a title — they both get the same fame and riches in the end, heh.
I saw his performance of Dare You To Move (originally by Switchfoot) and thought it was really lovely. I’m really not that familiar with all of the songs that Cook performed on American Idol except for Eleanor Rigby and Always Be My Baby. David Archuleta’s performance of With You (originally by Chris Brown and my ultimate LSS hahaha) was definitely one of the forgettable performances because he totally butchered it without meaning to, yet I still give him props for trying something new and my least favorite. I loved his performance of Imagine (originally by John Lennon) last night, best ever! Oh yeah, I have to tell you guys.. I was not hooked on American Idol until 2 weeks ago! And I owe the semi-catching up to the season reruns 4 days ago! They definitely got me hooked.

Yep, this is the new design building where I will be studying for the next 3 months.
Totally far from ALL the famous food chains, haha.
Yesterday was my first day of Sophomore year. Wasn’t that enjoyable like how I expected it to be. I arrived too early, lucky that my classmate arrived early so I wasn’t that lonely while waiting. The only things that annoyed me was that not all elevators were working so for my 2nd class we had to go up 5 floors by foot using the stairs. Y’know me and climbing stairs.. not so good. I get tired pretty darn easily and might lead me to getting sick again, to my regular readers, you would know this as my AKIC experience. 
Classrooms didn’t look like how I expected them to be as well. For MWF, I have class at 2 different classrooms. The first classroom isn’t that cold and our class has a lot of students, obviously not all of us are accommodated by the air that comes out from the air conditioner, and the room setup pretty much sucks like if you sit at the corner table in the front you won’t be able to see the whole whiteboard where the professor writes lectures (sadly, I was seated there in my second subject class).
It also bothers me that we are so darn far away from all the good fast food restaurants such as Mc Donalds, KFC, Red Ribbon and Jollibee because I am now in the new design building, these fast food restos are much nearer if your classes are at the main college building. So much for wanting to fatten myself.. I’m far from those fatty-charged foods,

I’ve yet to know how my classes could turn out for Tuesdays since classes started on Wednesday for me. Hope it’s good. *crosses fingers* On the ‘bright’ side, the building looks totally pretty. This is something new SO I should be patient with everything and hopefully the good part will come out really soon. Hahahaha, trying to be optimistic! So far, so good, no hectic assignments and take home works.
Right now I don’t have any classes since its Thursday. I plan on going to the mall later to buy index cards and yellow pads and have my 1×1 picture taken as well for tomorrow. And grab KFC burgers on my way home. Later days!

I thought David A. will win because of last night’s performance. They both did pretty good though. Grabe kanina pa ko nakakatanggap ng txt msg na nanalo si Cook. And kanina sa elevator, may naguusap na si Cook nga nanalo.
Hahaha.
They both deserve to be in the finals, that’s it. They’ll both get recording contracts anyway, right? Haha.

And I agree with you, Archuleta’s version of With You was TOTALLY forgettable. I thought he was playing safe when he sang that. It didn’t really suit him, and the dancing was really… Weird. Arr. I kinda got spoiled by your post actually, ’cause before I watched the finale I dropped by your site and saw Cook’s picture. :O So I kind of got the hint that he was winning, and I wasn’t really super surprised when I heard he was the winner. Not blaming you though, I got excited naman.

In my case, I really thought that this year’s season’s winner would be Archuleta because he’s got so many fans and the judges, especially Simon praised him during their last performance night. Good thing America voted for the right person. Cook Rocks! w00t!
Some of my classmates even sneaked to the visitor’s lounge to watch AI… and they shouted when Ryan proclaimed the winner. Lol.
