Concert tickets!

I suppose I can say that this was the highlight of my week? I finally have tickets to the concerts of the bands I like who are going here in the next few months. Fun fact: the 30STM concert is on the day AFTER the Incubus concert. This should be fun (and tiring, I’m expecting!) and an awesome experience.

iPad

Not really my iPad but I’ve been using it a lot lately. It’s either this or my laptop that I bring to class whenever we have a quiz because we have to (or rather the prof is suggesting) use the web formulas to compute for our answers. Didn’t know it would have a purpose for me, haha.

Old vs. New

My brother’s out on a trip with his friends so I got to borrow my old laptop (the black one on the left side, its his now) for a couple of days. I kinda miss it but seeing what he did with it (didn’t take care of it that well) I want to take it back for safekeeping. Loljk. I need to stop myself from buying another battery from it because it’s starting to bloat again. I got the battery replaced for free, dunno if they will allow it for the second time.

Something I bought from Witty Will Save the World

I didn’t write about it here, but here’s another item I bought from Witty Will Save the World last year (around December). It’s a planner but from the looks of it, it’s turning out to be a mini diary of some sort. Lol I don’t list plans and schedules and appointments but instead I put a rundown on what happened per day.

Bad at writing down on something everyday

Unfortunately, the last time I’ve written here was last April 28. It’s almost going to be a month since I last wrote on it and when I do get back on filling out the next pages, I might miss out on the details. FINE, I will start writing once I publish this entry! I have all night to do it, anyway. I think. TBH, I’m bad at keeping up with these things. I can barely keep up everyday with a Project 365, or those x-days memes, what more w/ this.

But that’s not the case in point of this blog entry right here. I wanted y’all to know about one of the stuff he brought over as one of his pasalubongs to use (I suppose).

So, around 2AM I went out to look for food and found bags of foreign food items and coffee packs all scattered in a table. I don’t know what is it with the coffee in Brunei but of the coffee I tried was really tasty and effective. First off I don’t drink coffee. I can stay up without falling asleep, without the help of coffee. It must be the “vanilla” word plastered on the packaging that got my eye and decided to try it out. Lo and behold, I didn’t fall asleep that night. Really annoying because I had to wake up at 6AM for a 8AM class.

Trying to sleep after 2 hours had passed of drinking coffee was such a hassling experience. Obviously I couldn’t sleep, and the harder I tried, thoughts started floating around my head. Ugh I hate that feeling you get when you can’t sleep. You start thinking about things you did the day before, then you realize some things you did that you regret. I must’ve fallen sleep around 4AM? FFFFFUU.

BUT THIS NOT WHAT I AM TRYING TO TALK ABOUT HERE, I’M TALKING ABOUT THIS PRECIOUS PIECE OF INVENTION RIGHT HERE:

Chocola's

Hidden (ok, not rly) under the packs of coffee sachets my step brother brought home for the family to consume for the next 5 weeks, are two boxes of Chocola’s chocolate chips. Yup, you read that right, chocolate chips. Now. This is very foreign to me and I’m not sure if we have it here but I really like the taste of it! It’s basically chocolate in the shape of Pringles chips. It’s best served cold, have it refrigerated the night before and enjoy it the next day!

Hmm, the number 36 in the packaging must mean that it has 36 chips inside.

My midnight snack early Saturday morning composed of that Vanilla latte coffee and a few sample of Chocola’s. Resulting in not having a happy sleep, but my tastebuds were at peace and pretty satisfied that night.

As of this writing, the chips aren’t as crispy as they were when I took it out and started taking photos of it. Yup, the chocolate is starting to melt haha. I’ve had it on the fridge for 2 nights and the photos of it shown here were taken an hour ago (at most). I was picking chips in between shots and I stopped halfway cuz I had to shoot, hahahaha.

Happy mother’s day to all the moms out there, and to my mom too.

Okay, gotta go back and have the chips put back in the fridge again. Til the next update!

As soon as I got outside the mall and went to the tricycle station, I noticed that the sun was still up. Well, I caught the last few minutes of it before sundown anyway.

Ugh my “no heat” curled hair isn’t that visible in any of the photos.

Why “Fish Twister”? Mavic asked me the night before if I’ve ever tried the fish flavored KFC Twister. She told me that we need to hang out soon so we can both try it out. That’s when we said that we should meet the next day and order it. I ended up ordering a Cheesy Beef flavored KFC Twister. She had her Fish twister. I didn’t like that it had vegetables.. so okay, I’m glad I did not order that.

After eating at KFC and sharing laughs with these guys, as per usual, we went out around the mall. One of us needed to buy some supplies so we went inside the dept. store (instead of National Book Store bec it’s on the other bldg.) and accompanied her. I forgot that I had some stuff to buy that time, too. Oh well.

Our last activity was playing video games at this place (I forgot the name).. and I beat Atan over two rounds of Marvel vs. Capcom game. Best day ever. Winning over a guy at any game is automatically a fun thing. Hahaha!

I also realized upon winning that I need to, or rather, want to go back to video game again. The last time I touched a game console was 3 years ago. I had a silver PSP, then my step brother borrowed it and brought it back to the province (where he lives). I never saw it again. He probably brought it over to a pawnshop or sold it or something and used the money for unnecessary shit.
