Wala lang. I was browsing around Amazon a while ago and noticed that they’ve invented a new packaging system which looks hella easier than the normal packaging that products have. They call it the “Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging”, it’s the first thing you’ll see when you go to their homepage.
I guess I’m one of the many who can relate to this kind of thing. Especially when I got a new HDD for my birthday 2 months ago, the packaging was really a pain in the rear to open. I even got paper cuts cause of the plastic packaging was too hard to pry open, even with the use of a cutter! Took me more than an hour to open it actually, and it wasn’t fully open.. I was only able to cut a smallish horizontal opening and I had to get my hands inside the package to get the product itself. In the end I got a lot of paper cuts and finger cuts. (lol, is there such a thing?) If you read the ‘letter’ at Amazon, I can definitely relate to the ‘Wrap Rage’ term, a lot.
So far, the Frustration-Free packaging feature by Amazon can be found on selected Toys that they have on sale. I hope they implement this on their gadgets as well, especially on products with packaging like the one on my HDD.
As if I’ll get to buy any gadgets at Amazon.. too expensive and shipping will definitely cost an arm and a leg. Better keep on wishing for a trip to the US to personally shop for gadgets (since they’re cheaper than here in the Philippines).
Have I told you that my latest hangouts on the net are Amazon and eBay?
Ever since two weeks ago I’ve been looking at some books at Amazon then at eBay to see if they have auctions for it, y’know.. cheaper way to get those ‘wants’. Jullia got me in to go eBay mode again. Sadly the local eBay in my area doesn’t have any of those books on auction. I was also eying the first edition of Heroes graphic novel at both sites to see which one is cheaper, and after sometime of research I gave in and went o buy the one I saw at eBay. Later I figured out that the reason why the one at Amazon is expensive is because it’s the hardbound copy.
I don’t really need a hardbound copy and besides I don’t like them in the first place so I went ahead with a softbound cover of the book. Last word I got from the seller was the tracking number of the package so I’m really excited to receive it! Been a long time since I’ve done any transactions online. If only I can sell stuff internationally again that would be fab, I’d love to save up PayPal money again.
But because I don’t have exactly a lot of time right now to go back and forth to the post office, that would have to wait.
But I really need money right now. I’m starting to be POOR because of buying art materials (specifically materials for my FREHAND classes) which eventually goes to waste because the prof doesn’t accept it and I’m forced to re-do everything again. Right now I’m procrastinating.. end up doing it when it’ll be too late.
I’ve never had financial problems like this before. I get too shy to ask money from my parents now.
I also have to plan/find a good place to shoot within this month. For my photography class, our final project is to create a coffee table book consisting of 6 (minimum) photographs, but I believe I can do up to 10. Problem is, I don’t have a definite place to do a shoot. Suggestions, guys? If possible (but you can totally ignore it and just suggest away) I hope it matches my ‘criteria’.
This marks the end of my post, lol. Oh .. for some reason I wanted to plug my wishlist, hahaha. IDK, maybe if someone who has a lot of money drops by my site and may be in the mood to be generous, please buy me something! Or or, a domain name will do.
In case you might be wondering, I’m not moving out *if* I receive/buy a domain. It looks like Google is never going to give back my PR 3, I have to find out another alternative to earn money through blogging. Wah.

Up Dharma Down’s album launch is going to be this Friday and I’m really hoping I can go! I really want to watch them again because the last time I watched them was 2 years ago, methinks. It was when Lokomotiv was still in the country and 6 Underground Makati still existed. Oh yeah, next Tuesday is Bamboo’s album launch for Tomorrow Becomes Yesterday. Good thing I didn’t bought their album yet cause I’ll get it on the launch next week if ever I get to go. Nothing’s really stopping me from going, parents are okay with it, no financial problems and I have my way of transportation to get there and thankfully it’s in Makati so it’s pretty near my place anyway. But I have many things to accomplish for school, aka PLATES! My parents are irritated whenever they sleep because I’m still up after midnight making these plates it bothers them because I’m still awake, when I should be asleep instead. My batchmates are irritated at my plates (not me) because it’s keeping me from going out to hang out with them, oh they have tons of free time now since it’s their sembreak (there’s only 2 in our batch who’s in CSB right now).
Actually, I only got a break right now from plate-making.
More like procrastinating, hi-ya! I feeling quite bipolar-ish lately. I’m having mood swings, not because I have my period. I don’t have right now actually.
I hate it. I’ve thought about dropping subjects to dropping school and just be a bum, I can do that.. or maybe I can’t. I’d really feel guilty about the money my parents spent on my tuition already. And I know I would miss a lot if I leave school, not academic-wise, duh. My friends, people I know, people I love (FRIENDS still). I remember my friend (who turned a year older yesterday, haha!) said something that goes like this during our freshman year, “It’s the people that makes my time in school worthwhile, never mind the hard works our professors give us, as long as we’re with the people we want to be with”. Oh yeah I definitely agree. If ever I turned to a weirdo/loner at school, I would’ve dropped my studies. Sadly, yea.
Mhmm, so just a little gist with what I’m up to these days. PLATE-MAKING. It’s making my like deteriorate unfortunately. Subjects I thought I’d love are starting to go to my hate list
. Being a loser that I am (hahaha) during freshman year I was so eager to take up COMGRAP and I finally did this year! Hurray! Only to find out it’s a crap subject. IDK, just my opinion y’all. Sure I’m learning but it’s sooo hard. Goddamn lazy SOB. We have to do a graphic novel cover of ourselves. Why can’t we just color someone’s lineart?
Why am I like this? Because we have to draw the character who’s going to be on the GN cover. And you may have known that I really can’t draw to save my life.
So yeah, I smell the stench of failure somewhere here.
Same goes for my FREHAND subject, I had to repeat 2 plates because it looks ugly and unpresentable, sad. Professor demands QUALITY. My friend shared that it also looks like the prof’s putting us on a competing scale against the other section (God I hope the prof won’t see this). I’m done with plate number 1,
. I’ve no idea if he will accept it.. it looks clean for the most part, its completely WHITE. JK!

(Actually it’s better when it’s farther, HAHA.)
I hate FREHAND.
Same with COMGRAP, I can smell the stench of failure as well. Don’t even get me started with COLREND. It’s alright at first but that’s because our real prof was gone for 3 weeks and we were handled by substitute professors. Tomorrow he’ll be back and it’ll be hell again for sure.
So much hate in this post, I’mma neutralize it with LOVE. So I love our Photography subject.. it’s not exactly my best subject (I’d say NSTP is my best subject this term, hahaha!) but I’m learning and I love it. For our finals, we have a coffee table project. Last Monday we were told to give proposals for a theme and I had 6 themes but he chose my proposed Nature theme. I’m excited but I’m unequipped if you what I mean.
I don’t have a DSLR. I don’t think its advisable to use a P&S cam, no? I’m trying to borrow one from a friend… and I told my dad about it but he still doesn’t think I’m in the position to use one.
Geez. Goodluck to me on that one.

Aww Gel, thanks for much for the award!
One week left and it’ll be November by then.. who’s excited for Twilight? ![]()
