What You Should Take with You to a Rock Concert

Are you planning on rocking it out and letting it loose at a concert of your favorite rock band? Here are some ideas for what you should take with you to a rock concert:

  1. The Right Clothing The key when it comes to dressing to a rock concert is comfort. Dress comfortably. It’s a crowded event, not a socializing event so it won’t really matter what you will wear as long as it’s decent and presentable. Don’t wear anything too valuable as your clothing might get some wear and tear at the concert. If the concert is at an outdoor venue, monitor the weather forecast and dress appropriately. Wear a hooded parka or a windbreaker for rainy or windy conditions, extra layers for cold weather, and lighter colored clothing to reflect the sunlight in hot weather. Also, wear the appropriate footwear. Shoes or boots are preferable to flip-flops or sandals as your feet may get stepped on in a crowded rock concert environment.
  2. Accessories Make yourself look ultra-cool with some stylish sunglasses. Wear some jewelry that compliments your clothing. Wear a funky hat or one with the band’s logo, though you have to be considerate that wearing a hat might block the view of the person watching in the back. Give yourself a Keith Richards or Bruce Springsteen look with a bandana.
  3. Medical/Sanitary Supplies Concerts can be dirty environments and you will come into contact with many people. Bring some napkins to clean yourself off as needed and a small bottle of antibacterial soap to help keep germs at bay. Bring any medicine or prescriptions if you have any medical conditions.
  4. Water Check with the venue beforehand to see if you are allowed to take any beverages inside. You can get dehydrated quite easily at a concert, particularly if it is at an outdoor venue during the summer.
  5. Money Make sure to bring enough money to cover all potential expenses at a concert, such as tickets, parking, souvenirs, and food and beverages.

New goals for the new year

Hello to a healthy, tidy and happy New Year!

Usually at the start of the year, I like to begin afresh with a new attitude and a new set of ambitions. This year is not any different and I am looking forward to the new opportunities and fun times that it will bring. I want to eat healthily, keep my room tidy and see my friends a lot. Of course, the last one is the most important and will take priority over the others. However, I have been thinking about how I would keep to the first two, and have come up with a few ideas.

I could eat healthy by trying to stick to low-fat options of my favourite dishes. I like Adobo and although it may not seem like it is, this is a pretty easy dish to make. Instead of making it with chicken thighs and drumsticks that have fatty skin on them, I could use boneless, skinless breasts. This would reduce the fat of the dish, and make me feel better about myself when I have finished dinner and am watching a movie or playing Cheeky Bingo. I can follow this principle with all the food that I like to eat, and as long as I eat lots of veggies and less fat, then I should be on course to a healthy and happy new year.

With regards to my idea of being tidy, there are a few easy things that I could do in my room to make sure I stick to it. I think that the main reason why people are messy is that they simply do not have enough space to store all of their things. So I could get another chest of drawers, or even just some plastic boxes that can fit under my bed and can store things that clutter up the place. Then my life will be tidy and healthy, and all I will need to do is enjoy it.

Desert Ridge

I’m sure most of us have thought on how we’re going to make our life look like for the next 10-20 years.. the time when we will be independent and living on our own. I’ve thought about it several times already, what business I will be undertaking, my career plan, plans for places to live since I will be on my own after 10 years (approximately), since I’m on my 2nd year in college.. it’s time that I think about my future, don’t you think?

Most of my time is spent surfing the internet. One time I came across a site that sells properties in the North Phoenix area. It baffled me at first because I was unsure if I want to live there but after some time looking at the contents of the website, I was convinced. The place is called ‘Desert Ridge’, I know you might be thinking of the desert type you see in TV or movies.. same with my initial reaction. It’s a small community but the population is just enough and can still accommodate people. As for hang-outs around the place, you need no to worry about it. Some of the popular places around Desert Ridge are the ‘Desert Ridge Marketplace’ and ‘The District’, which is, according to them, targeted to a younger group of Desert Ridge people. The houses in this area seem interesting too, it has a vibe of both Tuscan and Spanish Colonial style of houses.

Maybe in time I would live here, if time and my budget in the future permits me.. I’d love to! It’s been always my dream to live overseas. You might be interested. You might be the future homeowner in Desert Ridge. Check it out, Desert Ridge Homes for Sale.

Universities here in the Philippines concentrate mostly and give priority to these kind of studies: Law, Medicine, Engineering and Sciences. You can barely find universities that provides full on concentration on courses that are concerned with computers and technology. Science is a study that is offered in this school I’m about to mention. Back to the topic, schools like Mapua, DLS-CSB, Informatics, STI and AMA Computer College are just some of the schools who offers courses and programs that concentrate on Information Technology (mostly).

I am not that knowledgeable with schools in other countries that gives focus on this kind of study but in the University Technology Transfer located in Jerusalem, is a school that also offers Technology Transfer Services. Imagine that? A place where not only students can learn but also a place where they can receive such service from the people there?

What is this Technology Transfer service, you ask? For example, you have a group of students who invents something that’s useful and something that actually works when tested. A group of researchers and professionals within the university will examine it and will determine if it’s legit. When it is legit, they will process it up to the marketing process.

I think it’s a pretty easy process for every one who’s within the university’s premises, or is a part of the alumni. Because once you invent something useful for people there, you would just have to do minimal tasks to make your invention get to the public.

University Technology Transfer does not solely cover the technology department in this field, but they go all around as well.

PPP aka PayPerPost is one of the many get paid to blog kind of sites out there. As of present time, I’m still a new member trying to get the hang of this website. But before that, I went through a lot of waiting in this site. Not that I’m complaining, this site is one of the best in the business with giving bloggers the opportunity to earn money from blogging.

So like any other PPP newbie member would do, I submitted this blog for reviewing in hopes that it will be accepted by the reviewers immediately. To my dismay, they rejected my blog for the first time. I was on the verge of giving up but I tried again probably after more than 5 months that passed, and I got rejected again. After that I didn’t bother anymore and went back to plainly just blogging. Leaving my interest in get paid to blog kind of things and just blogging for fun. During that hiatus from signing up and trying my luck at get paid to blog websites in hopes to earn money from it, I decided to prep up my site. I wanted to make things decent and presentable and clean up everything.

After quite a long time, I decided to resubmit again and would you believe that I finally got IN PPP? :yay:
T’was a matter of fixing my archives page and site indexing. I got pretty frustrated at first what the site indexing meant and its purpose but a little Google search made everything and I got an idea on what I should to to get accepted.

Oh yes, the grand question: WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH ALL THE MONEY YOU EARN!??!
Silly, of course I’m going to save them up! It’s good to have spares and spares of money both offline and online. Hopefully me and this service will get along well and will help me with earning money. CHEERS TO PayPerPost! :yay:
