OHAI! I’m finally using the latest WordPress as of this post. There’s no yellow bar on top alerting me to upgrade to the new one otherwise, haha.

Anywayyyy, here’s the post-Incubus concert blog entry post everyone’s been waiting for. Took me a while to write this because I simply did not know how and where to start!! Lots of stories after the jump. I hope you like how this entry turned out and I hope to god I didn’t disappoint anyone if ever I left out any parts of the story.

3rd times the charm for INCUBUS!

Hear, hear. It’s been a week since the concert.. have you guys moved on? I have been trying so desperately to move on but as the days go by I seem to be craving for more Incubus! I have watched too many videos, reblogged too many photos, ranted and raved about different aspects related to Incubus in my other blog, talked about it too much to my friends to the point that they don’t care anymore, found out too many things that I couldn’t handle about the band BEFORE the concert and AFTER the concert.. lastly, got disappointed at one point.

You have only been gone 10 days, and already I’m wasting away… – I Miss You, Incubus (Make Yourself)

As much as possible I’m going to be civil here and not unleash any fury of fangirliness.. I hope. Also, this will be a looooong entry because I didn’t blog about the last concert back in 2008, so I’m going to make up for that!

Last Thursday Night

The 14th of July last week was definitely an eventful one for me. One, it was the day for my portfolio to be evaluated by an external panelist (aka a possible employer when I’m done with college, will talk about it on another entry). Two, it was finally Incubus night!

The event that we (the Incubus Street Team Philippines) have planned since April is finally happening. We know that the planning process wasn’t perfect. A lot of things happened during those 3 months of planning. But as we all know, a successful event isn’t successful if not for its bells and whistles in between.

That huge tarp that nearly took the life of my laptop!

I’m happy to announce that it has been a week since the event and it has been a very big success! Around 300 people attended and we were able to reach our goal of getting enough funds to donate to our chosen groups and charities. It was a night filled of fans, bands and music all for Incubus. I really have no consistency whatsoever with updating my blog. Somehow, I find it easier to update on tumblr than in WordPress but the thing is I’m not letting go of my WordPress blog and completely move to tumblr!

Lemme set that aside and share to you something that I’m sure would be of interest to you and hopefully you’d love to be a part of (nope, I won’t be persuading you to try a new product or invite you to come with me to some secluded place where I will sell you something + end up with you paying me to join our little networking thingymajig).

Everything is Incubus and nothing hurt

Hi-o! Just taking a break (procrastinating, really XD) from reviewing for my quiz tomorrow and gonna make a quickie post here about the recent Incubus Street Team Philippines activity last Saturday.

So, one of the activities that we planned a couple of months ago finally came in to play and I’m happy to announce that it was a success! :cheer: Which event am I talking about? The Post-Earth Day activity aka Tree Planting activity, of course.

It’s convenient that I already have photos from this place beforehand because I had a hard time thinking of what “design” should I do for this poster. As always, I wanted to keep it minimal, and focus on the text. I thought the photo looked pretty tho. The photo is from the same place that I shot way back in December when I went to La Mesa Eco Park for the first time to do our project in NATSCA2.
