Happy October to everyone! It’s rather confusing to assume if we’re off to a bad start because of the rain/typhoon (but in my case it’s a GOOD start, hoping for no classes tomorrow! ) or it’s just there to fool us, making us see that this October is going to be a good one.

Lemme share something to you guys, do you ever wonder why there are a lot of ‘October Babies’?? I do, all the time.. it ain’t no coincidence anymore, back in HS I use to think it’s just ‘timing’ that I know a lot of people who have birthdays in the said month but when I got to college, about 10+ people have birthdays in October. WHY IS THAT? What does October have that other months doesn’t have?? Thoughts?

I’m starting to hate this term. Because we’re being given with tons of stuff to do. I know I shouldn’t be complaining because it’s going to benefit me sooner or later but they’re things I don’t wanna do that bothers me. Can you guess what most of my professors are making us do right now that bothers (particularly) me? Starts with the letter ‘D’ and ends with ‘G’. Well, yeah I’ll leave it to you guys to figure that out and you will.. eventually.

I’m not good in rendering traditional art manually. That’s it. I tried (my best) coloring, drawing, sketching.. but they all come out crap. I have never done any trad. art that came out passable, near-perfect and clean. Always dirty. It’s not just a state of mind, I kept my mind open and thought of ‘happy thoughts’ while making them.. no help at all. So much for being positive, no? I’m willing to learn but yeah maybe fate doesn’t want me to.

Practice is the way to go, but there’s just way too many things around me that distracts me not to focus. THAT’S IT! I lack focus and practice. Assuming that I’m good with computer stuff already, it’s because I’ve done nothing for the past years but spent tons of hours infront of the PC. I’ve had too much practice already. I need to do other stuff. But as the saying goes, Old habits die hard. It’s like wanting to stop smoking but you can’t and you won’t.. until you see the side effects of what you’re doing, hopefully that won’t happen to me. No, I don’t smoke.

Enough with that. On my TO-DO list: (1) Create a Cylinder and Cone without the use of a ruler in a 3-point perspective and add shadows to them (HAND DRAWN) and (2) create a pattern for each of the Four Temperaments using the elements of Nature (HAND DRAWN) must be realistic looking when colored.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. *insert more here* I’ve done one though, finish this color wheel for my color rendering class. Wanna know something? It took me 3x to redo the whole thing, just imagine the amounts of paint wasted for it. I hate it when paint gets wasted. I am not enjoying the sight of getting it wasted.

I’m not having much problems on my other subjects, just these drawing subjects.. I thought I’d get away with taking Design Principles last year, but I guess I still have to face the other drawing subjects the hard way. I never thought we’d be drawing in our History of Arts II subject, cause I didn’t last term.

Oh, woe is me with this kind of misery. Bullshit.
I have never felt this pressured because usually I have a way with getting away with it. *sigh* Now is different from the rest.

This term is THE term I would be out-of-this-world happy if I receive 1.0 or 1.5 on my course card giving day on all my drawing subjects. I seem to have badluck when its the 2nd term, just like last year when I got a failing grade on one of my subjects. FUCK!! I’m having thoughts on shifting to another course but it’s prolly too late, even people I’ve asked are against the idea.

I hate talking about school 80% on my blog posts, especially when they’re not happy-happy. I miss talking about the movies I watched or stuff I’ve downloaded. HAHAHA. Btw, I’ve watched Heroes last week and there’s too much going on and flaws are showing up. But I still enjoy watching it. I’m downloading episode 3 right now and blogging here to pass by time! Mohinder is disgusting, bow.

Damn pressure.. 3 more months to go. This is probably the longest term in a year in CSB. I hope classes will be suspended tomorrow because I’m sure as hell not ready to make hybrids and attend color rendering classes. Thank God for the rain, I hope it continues till Friday. But it seems to have slowed down now.. NOOO!! Let’s be grateful everyone and do the banana dance and rain dance/song!

Speaking of banana dance.. I’d like to thank people who signed up for Plurk using my referral link! Smallville’s ‘Odyssey’ episode aired a few days ago and it only got to my attention when I saw a torrent file download of it, hahaha. Obviously, yeah, I downloaded it and what can I say about the episode and my expectations/what I’m looking forward to the rest of the final season of Smallville?

Wanna know something? I cried on the first episode. SAD!! I got lost on the first episode, there were some scnees that I forgot ‘how it happened’. I should watch again some episodes from Season 7, yay for my friend for giving me a copy of Season 7!

Anyway, that’s 1 out of 2 of my anticipated series comebacks that has been fulfilled I just heard from my friends that the new Heroes episode is out soon, well I suppose right now in the US it’s the premiere. WOOHOO! Even though I haven’t properly watched all the episodes off season 2 (I missed out on the first 7 episodes, started watching on 8), I’m still excited! I hope Ali’s still alive, I honestly don’t have any expectations but I hope it wouldn’t be so short like Smallville.
I have my sources where to get the episode and I just watched the trailer a few minutes ago. It gave me the goosebumps and the drive to WATCH it.. Woo woo woo! Must get the DVD of season 2 soon.

Oh yeah I downloaded Ne-Yo’s new album earlier this week. I’ve been anticipating for since last month, some of my friends might know this because on Plurk and Twitter I’ve been ranting on how long it’s taking to be released and stuff. Well, my prayers were answered because September 16 came out fast enough and I downloaded it.

IT! This is definitely my favorite album from Ne-Yo. I’m too lazy to do a review of all his songs right now but from the album I liked these songs: Back to what you know, Mad, Single, Fade into the background, Lie to me & Nobody. I noticed some of the songs have melodies/tunes from Little Bit’s “Forget About Me” and Usher’s “Love In This Club”. Dunno if that’s bad or something, I don’t really care.

Besides his new album, I’ve dled some old school and new music. Albums, most likely Greatest Hits from Macy Gray, Beverly Knight, N*Sync (I know, I know!), Maria Mena, Metallica (unofficial Greatest Hits, I just want to d/l their best songs), POD, Vertical Horizon, Kelly Rowland, John Legend, REM, Limp Bizkit, Nirvana, BSB, Joss Stone, Leona Lewis and Miley Cyrus.

I know, I’m killing my HDD, slowly.. eventually. But don’t fret. I got a new HDD for my birthday, 320gb. Actually I’ve used most of it already.. damn. Good thing I still bought blank DVDs to burn the files for back up.

I’m so distracted by entertainment from school. Hahaha. I gotta go now. Later days! Still have 1 plate to finish for Free Hand class, cross hatching! Well, I’m willing to learn.. hopefully I will learn. On Friday will be my 2nd recollection, I’d have to miss my Free Hand class on Friday for it so I’m going to sit in on one of my friend’s classes because they have the same professor.

Btw, the letter “T” on my Macbook keyboard doesn’t work sometimes. I wonder why is that? Is my keyboard starting to falter or is it dirty? Should I bring it to the Apple Store?

Sorry haven’t been blog hopping to your places lately. I’m way too active in Plurk. And also with school, LMAO. Buuut promise I will bloghop, as in after I finish this entry. Gel thinks I’m a Plurk monster already because of my stats . I have no idea what you’re talking about. HAHAHA.
