Oh, Sundays.

On a normal day, posts like this one would go into my tumblr blog. But today, I thought of changing that habit. Since no one reads this blog that much nor do I have a sizeable amount of followers to react violently to this post (I hope, LOL) I’m gonna post it here!

Also, when I’m blogging on tumblr, it seems like a short post always, always ends up being 5x longer than I intend it to be. So I hope blogging~ this in a different platform would shorten it, IDK.

Text-heavy post, just saying! :P  Read more…

Sunday Currently, Vol. 4

Reading: Chicken Soup for the Soul (I’ve been meaning to finish this but I always fall asleep!)
Writing: Numbers, numbers, numbers! Listing my past and upcoming expenses. FML.
Listening: Infomercial on TV
Thinking: ”What else am I forgetting to do on my backlog?” Also, the beach.
Smelling: Kenzo perfume
Wishing: Money to go out so I can watch X-Men: Days of Future Past :(
Hoping: For nothing. Meh. Not feeling particularly pessimistic, not optimistic either.
Wearing: What I wore last night
Loving: The makeup~ I bought and have tried only once since 3 days ago. (In the photo, I’m only using lipstick though)
Wanting: The Sony A6000 mirrorless camera. Oh my god would you look at it, so so so so so pretty! I cannot stop watching videos about it.
Needing: Money so I can buy that camera
Feeling: Hungry. I think I’m gonna order a pizza tonight.. or not. We’ll see.
Clicking: The publish button

Life has been uninteresting lately. Cooped up here in my room for the entire week. Maybe I’ll start working on my portfolio when I’ve lost my sanity and become THAT bored.. but for now, TV has been very entertaining. Also, there have been plans for out of town trips with different set of friends in the coming months, so that is something I am looking forward to. Keeping myself on house arrest to save up some money, haha. Yup.
Little backstory about the downtime of my portfolio: Back in January there was a series of hacks on my websites and all the websites under my host. The website got too damaged in the process and I felt lazy to put everything up every time it got hacked. Oh well, it was time for a major renovation anyway.

By the way, I covered an event I went to two weeks ago! My write-up is published over at When in Manila! Check it out here: SOL Republic Headphones: Manila’s Key to Hearing the Soundtrack of Life

Sorry, let me humble brag about this for once. This doesn’t (EVER) happen to me.. so I’d like to share this small accomplishment with you all. ❤ There are probably a few errors, but I tried my best to be informative and keep my personal style in the writing.

That’s all for now. Lemme get back to my backlogs, but wait.. after TV time!

And I have been awarded… out of nowhere!

I woke up this morning and saw an email from Hello Lysa, telling me that she tagged me to be one of the receivers of the Liebster award. I have seen this “award” around the local blogging network but I don’t think I was ever tagged in these things before. It was surprising because, I don’t get interaction/attention other than the occasional comments from my friends here on my blog. Haha!

I suppose the purpose of this award is to encourage camaraderie between blog readers? Thanks for tagging me! I’ll get to answering the questions now.

1. Describe your blog in five words.
Certainly not a typical blog
2. How would you describe yourself?
I dislike describing myself because I am generally an uninteresting person. That’s why I have a blog in the first place. *cue canned laughter*
3. Since when did you started blogging and why?
I started blogging in 2005 because other than trying to keep my post count up by actively and sincerely posting around 5 different messageboard/forums for teens then (it was the “tumblr” or “real online community” at that time, wow it’s been YEARS!), blogging was the next best thing us students could get in to make friends online.
4. What do you love to write about?
In this blog, So Stellar, I post my photography from the events I go to, sometimes reviews on things I buy and thought would be nice to write about in case people Google for it before they decide to buy. Basically things I want Google to find. My other blog contains rants and posts not really suitable for the general audience. :P
5. What is the story behind your URL?
I became a sucker to those “click here to get and iPod” ads back in 2005, before I know it, my cc was charged for 2 years worth of domain and webhosting. The name is from an Incubus song, I just added the “so” for the phrase to make sense.
6. What are your future plans with your blogging career?
9 years later, I still don’t see all of this as a “career”. I still see it as just blogging for the sake of disseminating information, or blogging for myself not for an audience. I’ve not gained anything nor gotten rich over the years. I don’t know how to answer this.
7. What are your hobbies?
I am literally infront of the laptop most of the time in a day, from Twitter to GMail. When I’m off the computer, I’d be watching TV or sleeping.
8. What kind of music do you listen to?
Alternative music. Check my last.fm (Do people still use this?! I do!!), or the sidebar area of my recent listened-to songs. :)
9. What kind of books do you read?
I use to read a lot of YA and only YA, now I am trying to move forward and broaden my literary interests. Harhar! I bought  a lot of books over the last few months but didn’t keep and ended up selling them after.
10. What kind of movies do you watch?
Movies that hit you hard in the psyche. :P
11. If you could be a celebrity in a day, who would it be and why?
I couldn’t come up w/ a quick answer for this one but I thought of Michael Fassbender for some reason.

Though I won’t be participating in such a way that I will tag a bunch of people at the end of the post, and post my own questions for these people to answer. I don’t think I have enough readership to do that anyway, lol.

But hey, this was fun to do! I loved answering the questions.
