This is my product of last week’s activity, minus the school stuff because they aren’t much interesting to talk about right now. So last week, I had a blast eating at different restaurants around Makati and in Greenbelt. Not only that but I had an awesome time hanging around bookstores and looking for certain books. So the photo up there shows the books & magazines that I recently bought last week (Tuesday, Wednesday and last Sunday night), namely: The Host, New Moon, Eclipse, 3 Archie comics, Seventeen PH magazine, Burn (PH) magazine, Big Cheese magazine and Thriller magazine (this one is a gift I bought for my brother, late birthday present.. ;;) ).

First stop was last Tuesday when my family decided to go to Greenbelt to (originally) just treat my younger brother to an expensive dinner since it’s his birthday the next day (May 28th), we ate at Fely J’s, one of the restaurants that can be found at Greenbelt 5 (or whatever the name of the new Greenbelt building is). I also saw 2 pieces of furniture that my dad made on the restaurant and thought that was insanely cool.

Little did I know that they had a bizarre plan of watching Indiana Jones at the mall’s cinemas. It didn’t pushed through because *I* was the problem, LOL. My dismissal time was too late and they waited for me to come to the mall. I was out of school at 5:45 PM and probably got to the mall around 6-ish PM. My mom was not in the mood to watch any movies that night (actually, she’s not much of a cinema person.. she always falls asleep). They should’ve watched without me. )

So while they were waiting for me to come, they hanged out at Powerbooks.. this puzzled me big time because normally my parents wouldn’t be found hanging out at places like this. Maybe I could exempt my dad on this one, but my mom is definitely not a book person. That was weird, but I looked at the situation as an opportunity to look for a copy of New Moon so I can finally get back to reading whatever it is I’m missing out on that book (since I’ve already finished Twilight a month ago), to look for a copy and buy another book! ) Dang.. my hopes shattered to pieces when I asked the saleslady for New Moon and she said they don’t have any stocks left then she told me they only have Eclipse in stock. I suppose this will do.. at least I wouldn’t have to look high and low for this book, I said to myself and grabbed a copy of Eclipse. I also went ahead with buying The Host as well, maybe I would enjoy it. It’s hella thicker than the Twilight books and more complicated. =)) Gah, slow mind. I started reading it last Wednesday and yet to continue with it. Ooh, the Archie comics as well!

Wednesday, I was out of school early (12:40 PM) and I decided to spend a bit of my time at Glorietta. I went there with a purpose: To buy materials for my DESPRIN (Principles of Design) subject (ugh, DRAWING!) and look at the other bookstores that might have copies of New Moon. I got my materials and rushed to 2 bookstores in Glorietta.. FAIL! New Moon was still out stock on both bookstores. Dang. So I did what I thought was my first — have a copy of New Moon reserved under my name. I went home after that and my brother had his party at our house across the street.

His party was really simple compared to my debut (LOL, what a comparison!). But we used the same place where I held my debut.. Mom let the catering people be in charge of the food, I didn’t eat much though.. IDK why. I invited some of my highschool friends to go to my Alex’s (my brother) birthday. It wasn’t awkward at all since he knows my friends as well because I studied in the same school as his. We (my friends) mostly hanged out at one of the rooms at the house, then we did a spontaneous photoshoot with no clear motive at all.

That’s one of the many silly photos we have (the rest is on my Multiply, lol). Besides that, we talked and talked and talked.. endlessly talked about nonsense stuff only our batch in our previous high school would understand. I love talks like that, going back to memory lane and laughing about it. :dance:

That’s my brother blowing his (what seems to be) girly-ish cake, complete with roses on the side of the table! ) He’s 15 and he’s TOO big for a 15 year old guy. =)) I’m such a mean sister. Well, happy birthday to you bro! I gave his gift last night and he definitely loved it. He likes metal music, he plays in a band and they will be famous “undergound” soon. =)) Support when you can, HAHA.

Last night, me and Alex went to Glorietta.. AGAIN to look for New Moon! No, actually I was only going to purchase my reserved magazines at a bookstore that I went to last Wednesday. But when I got to the bookstore, they *finally* have stocks of New Moon! :yay: GAHHH, FINALLY! The sad thing is, I just placed a reservation 6 hours ago at the bookstore near my school and I was going to claim the book at Monday. After quite an hour of deciding I called that bookstore to cancel my order and finally purchased New Moon.

SUCCESS, I SAY!! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, BABY! :dance: My Twilight books are complete, only missing in the photo is my Twilight book which is in the hands of my friend who just finished reading it today and told me she wants to borrow New Moon next! Sorry dude, not until I finish reading it, which will take me like a month. =))

OK. So the least interesting talk of this post is my TEETH. 4 days ago I felt a part of my mouth specifically on the right side started to hurt real bad, the feeling is like when a tooth is coming out of your gums — something like that. I thought my wisdom tooth was coming out then when I had it checked, turns out its another damn canker sore. Not only that, but I have 2 abnormally placed wisdom teeth about to come out REAL soon. Right now my mouth’s starting to feel numb and I’m having difficulties in eating, like earlier tonight I couldn’t open my mouth properly to eat.. and and when I chew sometimes I feel a shock sensation on the right side of my teeth. The dentist treated my canker sore and it was fine as dandy last night, but the pain went back this afternoon — when I skipped meals and starved myself again.

Just so you know.. my dentist said that I might be up for oral surgery real soon because of my abnormally placed teeth (or wisdom teeth? idk). Noo!! The dentist also said that this usually happens to people around 18-above. NOW I KNOW WHY BEING OLD SUCKS. Must I suffer this much when I already suffered ENOUGH before? Thinking about it does NOT help either because my canker sore hurts more when I stress myself more (yes, stress could be the cause of it sometimes, read it up online). I am so doomed.

Anyway, mom and dad went out earlier this morning to look at Air Conditioners at the mall. I wondered why they’re planning to buy one when we still have a working unit on this very room where I’m in right now. Dad said they’re gonna put it on our house across the street. Meaning…. our house may get finished renovating soon. So yay.

DRIVING I was supposed to go driving yesterday but the tutor did not arrive. I got dressed at quarter to 5pm cause he always arrives early, but yesterday he never did. And then I found out later when my brother woke up from his nap that the car had to be taken to the tune-up center cause some part of the car was malfunctioning or something. Then I immediately asked him if it was OUR fault that the car broke down, he said it wasn’t. =)) Well, I had the right to ask because as far I can see, Alex, Mom and I were the only ones who used that car most of the time to tutor us.. and I felt bad for it cause I could’ve been the reason. Yesterday could’ve been my 7th day of driving. Damn, they told me I could finish in 10 days but it will be extended to 11 days (because I didn’t get to drive yesterday). I’m getting lazy…. BUT I’m getting better. Thank God I’m getting the hang of that manual car. :dance:

SCARING MYSELF Last night I watched age old videos of Are You Afraid Of The Dark, Tales of The Crypt Keeper and 1960s Twilight Zone. I know I was a fool for doing that because I scare myself easily regarding scary shows but like always, I only realized it when I was watching Part 3 of the last Twilight Zone episode I was watching. Not only that but I also went memory tripping by watching old school Nick show intros like Clarissa Explains it all, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, etc. I wish our Nickelodeon in the Philippines would bring back shows like that.. they used to show it when I was in Elementary, lol. IMO, they beat the new teen shows hands down but I still like to watch them compared to American Idol (no offence to all AI fans) and some other TV Series out there..

Are You Afraid Of The Dark was one of the shows I would never ever watch alone when I was a kid. I’d turn off the TV and go to sleep once I see the scary intro, especially the one where the title of the show flashes on the screen and then a hand holding a lighted match stick comes up! Pete and Pete, one of the weirdest shows I’ve ever seen in Nick back in the day.. I tried to watch a clip from the show last night but I still find it weird and boring so I didn’t bother.

Needless to say, most of the episodes in AYAOTD still scared me and left me unable to sleep last night. The Tale of The Pinball Wizard, The Tale of the Thirteenth Floor and The Tale of the Dark Music are some of the scariest! Lets put to consideration the crappy quality, props and everything but it still leaves you haunting in your sleep. :whistle:

I’ll try to watch more episodes later.. hopefully as long as the Sun is still shining. =)) It’s less scarier when you watch horror shows in daylight cause you forget about them when you sleep. What an idiot, scaring myself.. Meh.

BACK TO SCHOOL This coming week is my *final* week of doing nothing. Probably next next week I’ll be “busy” preparing myself for my school comeback, ROFLMAOWTFBBQ. Sophomore year, here I come! There’s a part of me wishing to have Him as my classmate this term, but I know that’s too illusionary to wish for since he’s probably ahead of me with the subjects. Last term He took subjects that I would be only taking this term.. I know, I asked. HAHA! =)) And after my first day in school, I wouldn’t have any classes again. Yay for Thursdays!

NEW SKIN I got my BestSkinsEver package for Macbook 13.3 laptop last Thursday. I put it on the laptop two days ago. It was too much work but in the end it was worth it, I think. I decided to remove the skin for the wrist part because it looks REALLY ugly. Half of what I paid for was wasted, huhu. Here are pics.. Does it look bad or what?

There are parts where I didn’t get to do the method carefully but I don’t think they’re very noticeable. The trackpad takes time getting used to since its hard to go around it. :doh: Glossy, glossy. ) Hmm, next time when I do something like this again I’m definitely going to do it inside the bathroom.. I had to soak the films to water first before applying it (yes the laptop had direct contact with water in the process, scary!.. not really). Why in the bathroom? Because inside the bathroom there is less lint than inside a room where lint drops itself just about anywhere dusty. I did my first BSE application on my iPod before and inside the bathroom and the results were really good. Not sure if I should put back my orange Speck hardshell case.. I’m going to sell it online if I don’t find any use for it anymore. Would anyone be interested?

RANDOM On a completely random note.. Bea Alonzo is playing the Philippine version of Betty La Fea! WTF! I thought it was gonna be Anne Curtis, LOL. IDK.. She’s more fitting than Bea Alonzo.

Well, good thing everything is back to normal now. Thanks GoDaddy for the time being of hosting my domain. Now I belong to D0M41N.NAME! They helped me throughout the transfer process, the owner (Ed) even called me to update me on what’s going on with the transfer when I got confused with it (cause it’s pretty odd that it’s taking a long time to transfer.. or I’m just pretty dumb with these domain stuff). Totally recommend them to the Filipino blog/domain owners there. Payment options are varied as well, not limiting to just credit cards like the usual. Oh yea, their prices are SO affordable — PHP 350 for a year with great service, what more could you ask for, right? Sorry but while I was doing domain hosting research, most of the PH-sites I stumbled upon offer this kind of service for PHP 500, and I think that’s way to expensive for my budget.

I was supposed to talk about my driving lessons and my “Twilight” reading experience before my domain went kaput. Yes you got that right, I just rode the Twilight/Edward Cullen/Stephenie Meyer fan bandwagon! :dance: Never thought I would be sucked into this kind of addiction. In every single blog I go to, at least 5 of them mentions the damned book and “Edward Cullen”, I don’t even know what’s so special with him, until I read the book 3 days ago. Actually I already had a copy of Twilight last February but only got to read it this month because my friend who borrowed it returned it just recently (if you’re my friend at Twitter, you might’ve read my smallish rant about her :whistle: ). Moving on.. I read the book, surprisingly I finished it in a day! I normally finish reading a book within a month, if I’m busy or bombarded with school works. But I can finish a book in 3 weeks if I’m really not doing anything. Slow reader, I am. As much as possible I try to grasp whatever it is that I’m reading so I can picture it out easily on my mind, lol, weirdo. A lot of things pretty much surprised me while reading Twilight:

The book is full of words like “ice”, “cold”, “icy”, “stone” and “eyes”. Hahaha, eyes y’all! Now I’m all “eyes-mode”. Every “eye-staring” scene and event in the movie makes the butterflies on my stomach fly.. or something like that, haha. EYES EYES EYES!! ) I would so melt if a guy would stare directly to me, gahd.

Making left and right turns on busy main roads (I’m too conscious about the other cars getting pissed at me for being so slow. )

Starting the car after doing a full on-brake. I’m having problems with the clutch and gas pedals. Told ya I have bad footwork. If I get it correct at one point, time comes when I fuck up all over again.
