ei anna, i know youre into photography, i just want to ask if you can help me in finding a good camera for a beginner like me? i just want sana a lomo cam but i don’t know which is good for a beginner. thanks
ANSWER: Love it, nice question! If you’re looking for a good camera (strictly) for Lomo photography, I suggest that you should get the Holga 120N. Check the site, there’s a 120N starter kit perfect for first timers. When I used to be interested in Lomo photography, I asked a friend what would be good to get as a beginner and he said I should get that. My interest in Lomo faded fast though and I never got to purchase one. I think they’re costy, especially with the films.
However, for digital photography naman, I don’t suggest going straight to EOS/DSLR immediately. Personally I would buy a point-and-shoot first and explore it, eventually master it then if I feel I need a better camera to suit my needs then it would be the time to go professional, getting a DSLR/SLR camera. Hope I helped!

Can you tell me where to get those Yahoo smileys for Wordpress? Thanks!

ANSWER: Hi. I got the smileys from Yahoo’s website, here. I installed them here in Wordpress using a plugin called WP Grins which enables me to use and post custom smileys on my blog.
Are you happy?
ANSWER: As of the moment, not so much. But I still laugh out loud. Read up on Maria Mena’s lyrics of “Fragile”.
Hi, I read your profile intro in Plurk about not being able to render traditional drawings. Is that for real and does it bother you too much?
ANSWER: Cool, someone actually reads on my Plurk intro? XD To answer your question yes that’s real and it does bother me.
I really hope I will learn how to render traditional drawings (perspective, detail, shadow, depth, etc.) because I feel like a loser here looking at my batchmates works and saying ‘Oh I wish I could do that’. :hmph:
Hi! May I know how you did the underlined texts in your posts? The ones wherein text would appear when your mouse hovers above it? Thanks!
ANSWER: Sure thing, here:
HTML acronym tags introduction and tutorial. I would demonstrate and post the code itself here but it just won’t display.
Hope you find this useful.
What are the gadgets needed by an MMA student? Pls. classify if it’s really required by the school or if you just think you need it…
ANSWER: You don’t really need to have one of these gadgets unless you plan to use them after college since the school has them anyway and they allow students to borrow them.. In my case I plan to take Photography seriously that’s why I wanted to get a DSLR in the first place.
Hmm, yeah pretty much you’ll be required to use these in one of your subjects as you go through but like I said you don’t have to buy them (unless the computer of course, and you know the rest) cause you can borrow one from the school.
From what I remember in the whole MMA course, students will use the following sooner or later:
Video cameras, cameras (and lens/accessories), studio lights, audio interfaces (such as M – Audio Fast Track), mics, computers, sound and video editing software, 3D rendering software, image editing programs (Photoshop, Illustrator), web developer software (Dreamweaver, Flash, etc).
