Hello, December.

November 30, 2008

Cool. We’re on the last day of the 2nd to the last month of the year! December here we come! And.. as usual, the previous months felt like just a breeze. School was pretty fast as well. Last year (frosh year, 2nd term) it was pretty slow.. because I was having so much fun only to experience a bad ending because I failed one subject at the end of that term. Oh well. I got over it and I’m taking that subject again next term..

I don’t get why my two other blockmates are excited to take that subject again.. I don’t feel excited at all, only scared. What if the class we get we’ll be like us ..a very noisy block? Problem with me during that time I took that subject, our block was too noisy.. etcetera, etcetera. I COULDN’T CONCENTRATE, that’s why. Sad. I don’t want to elaborate cause I might offend someone.

I’ll be serious this time, promise. I don’t think anyone can distract me at that class.. all of them passed that subject already. :whistle: Damn smartasses. =))

Oh oh, there’s three weeks left for me and I’m so done with school! I mean.. only for Christmas Break. If not for my 1 minor subject (NSTP) I would be off school by 2nd week but nooo. *sigh* Geez. I plan to sleep every single day, wake up early, be productive, try to eat healthy (I tend to not eat much when I’m at home, no I’m not dieting..), and REST. Next term I won’t be having 2 days worth of no classes days.. all thanks to that subject I am retaking. :hmph:

So how do you plan to spend your Christmas break?? I bet you’ll just Plurk ALL day long. )

I watched Twilight last Friday and my initial reaction was “S’ok”. Next day I realized the following: (sorry if you get offended but what the hell.. we have different perceptions/interpretations of the movie, but I reccomend you to click the spoiler link, IF and only if you’ve seen it)

1. The part where James gets to accidentally sniff Bella’s hair…. Bella’s stoned reaction is just LOL moment (for me.)

2. There were so many laughable scenes on the movie (IMO)

3. They skipped hella lots of parts. What I really looked forward to was the stage where they were getting to know each other..

4. …Also the part Edward says Bella’s car is too slow =)) .. yeah that whole process would’ve been lovely to see in the movie

5. Charlie is so funny.. he brought the film to another level with his serious yet funny attitude, lol.

6. I never imagined the house of the Cullens looking like THAT. while reading the book I pictured their house to really look like a mansion.. like the White House .. or rather elegant looking not modernist and minimalist.

7. I found out later that it was Rob Pattinson singing on the background on that one scene (yung parang may ngumangawa, haha.. ugh, I don’t know how to translate that word, sorry)

8. Ayiene already warned me beforehand that the epic “Do I Dazzle You?” line was not in the movie.. I forgotten about it while watching the movie. Found out later it really wasn’t in the movie. So is the “You’re intoxicated by my very presence” line, BOO! (Correct me if I’m wrong, I didn’t bother to read Twilight after finishing it months ago, haha)

9. At first I thought Rachel Lefavre would’ve been better as Rosalie in the movie, but after seeing Nikki Reed act her role out.. just perfect. She’s bitchy alright, but Rachel’s like…. angelic looking but evil, ya get me? My impression on Victoria was “goody 2 shoes” at first, but eventually, as Laurent said “Don’t underestimate her”. Rosalie looked bitchy from the start. )

10. Jacob was so fucking convincing on the movie. I love him. WHO’S EXCITED FOR NEW MOON? ;;)

11. Kristen Stewart really got me on the “transformation” scene. Hahah, her hyperventilating (hmm? correct me if I’m wrong) convinced me BIG TIME. Poor her.. but um, laughy-laugh here and there. Edward over sucking the venom was pretty ) too. Oh noe, mean me. Sorry but that’s just an opinion.

Noticed how I didn’t talk about Edward “Everyone’s Man” Cullen? I’m out of words to compliment him, and um, no it’s not because “OH MY GOD EDWARD IS SO HOT!” but cause.. way before the movie even came out.. there was so much of him already from the trailers to his popularity rising above the roof. He played it well and I’m satisfied already, especially the biology lab scene! (I hope I don’t spoil anyone with this, haha).. I just wasn’t looking forward on seeing more of him anymore, I was looking forward for the scenes with the other characters (such as Emmett and Jacob :whistle: )

I give it 4/5.

Thanks for the good feedback about the first vlog btw.. I might do one again but not anytime soon. Maybe next lifetime, if time permits. It’s gonna be December tomorrow, pretty excited for that!

..Even though it means a lot of rushing here and there to finish the projects before the deadline. Y’know me, always wanting to get done with things as soon as possible. I have to make a magazine portfolio, photography portfolio, more plates, reports, etc.. I’ll sort it out later. )

December will be pretty busy for me as well in the society department. =)) I have 2 debuts to attend and.. hm, I haven’t found what to wear. I don’t like wearing the same dresses in the events I go to, unless they don’t know each other. Gets? Say I go to event A wearing a white dress, I won’t wear it to event B unless it’s really a different celebration.

:whistle: Sana wala akong mabagsak ngayong sem. Madalas kasi yung ayaw kong subject yung mga muntik na bagsak, e. Eh ayaw ko nga taposuulitin ko pa, kaya kapag nakakakuha ako ng kahit na passing lang tumatalon talaga ako. Haha. Nashare ko lang. Good luck sa pag retake Sana nga hindi noisy ang classmates!

Marami kayang weird scenes, nakakatawa. Ewan ko ba pero natawa ako sa Biology class scene. Parang ang awkward nung scene na yon. Parang hindi natural. Iba pa naman yung nasa isip ko. HAHA. The best naman para sa akin yung baseball scene. Lol. :worthy:

Christmas break, well aside from plurking lol, I wanna try NOT being a vampire. Like sleep at 3am and wake up in the afternoon T_T I wanna be productive! Learn new things )

Yeah Twilight was okay. I found some scenes really weird though hahaha. But their acting was great. They just need to uhm, deliver the lines more with feelings. I didn’t like how they said the ‘lion and lamb’ Infairness nga ang galing nung magttransform si Bella as vampire a :bravo: Hahaha, katawa lang kasi naduling pa siya dun =)) I didn’t imagine the Cullen house to be like that as well. Parang mansion din nasa isip ko! Oh well haha.

They skipped a LOT of parts, if only they put how Bella&Edward developed their love, getting to know and all that it would’ve been good. I was looking forward to that too! Heck. ) It was good but they could’ve done wayyy better. AND IM EXCITED FOR NEW MOON!!! Pre-prod na daw sila ngayon and audition process.. I wonder who’ll play the Volturi? Exciting! And Italy! And more Alice! Haha. March 2009 daw start ng shoot nila ) TLAUTZ!! ? :X

Anyways, good luck with school! We need a lot of that since finals is just around the cornerrrr nyay. I can’t wait for Christmas break! We so need a break! )

I saw twilight na rin, hindi ako sumunod sayo, I watched it anyway before even finishing the book. The movie made me wanna finish it na. Thanks sa ebooks ha.

And gawsh, ang GEISHA ni rpatz dun. Literal! Ang puti nya ampota! Di bagay! Ayun enjoy sya, babasahin ko na talaga, kahit na i should be reading school books.. pagchachagaan ko ang ebooks. hahaha..

Di ka lalamyerda sa pasko? Boring nun, stuck up ka sa bahay, you should go out moar!

I watched the movie and thank God I didn’t read the book. I got to fully appreciate the movie and I wasn’t expecting any parts from the book to come to life haha

Hirap nga magconcentrate pag super ingay sa class :s I hate it when that happens.

I haven’t watched Twilight, and I don’t have plans to watch it for now because I haven’t read the book.

Good luck on both of us. Term’s end is near, and I hope we’re going to pass all subjects.

wala nga yung Do I Dazzle you. Yung line natin ate anna, walaaa! Nako! Pati yung intoxicated! Nako naman oh. Chika pa nga sa akin yung lion lion lamb na yan, dapat wala rin yan eh. Kaso nagmakaawa daw si SM na ibalik yun kasi maraming magiinarteng fangirls. :doh: The hyperventilating part of KStew is the best thing i’ve seen from her. Convincing talaga.

twilight is an okay movie. i’m just not convinced with the acting specially kristen stewart’s. parang bored na bored siya eh. the only time i saw her do some real acting eh doon sa scene na nakagat na sya ni james at doon sa hospital scene. rob was great with his acting though. kakasad lang dahil wala ung mga kilig moments from the book.

yeah, i also imagine their house with huge posts and victorian styled walls. not like that super modern one in the movie.

i’m planning to watch it again, baka this time mas malakas impact sakin cuz i’ll be watching with friends this time. mas malalabas ko ang kilig ko. hahahaha!

woot! christmas break! buti pa kayo! enjoy sa break and have a nice time ok? tc!

twilight was not as good as i thought it would be. it kinda sucked compared to the book i mean what movie is ever better than the book right ? ithe movie was fine, i guess…

I’m sort of excited for New Moon. I’ve read all 4 books, and I’m partly disappointed with the outcomne of Twilight movie. IT WAS UBER SHORT! Haha.

omg! the “do i dazzle you” part, i forgot about that. the dazzle line is a lot better than the intoxicated line. why didn’t they put that in there?! i was kinda disappointed too that they cut so much part. i hope in the DVD coming out that they’ll have those cut scenes. i’ll defintely buy the freaking DVD.

Ayaw ko nang may maibagsak ng subjects, kundi sobrang delayed na ako dahil sa LOA and untake subjects. Hehe.

Super okay naman yung movie even if there were alot of scenes taken out. Dapat siguro ang ginagawa ng mga movie makers is make the whole book into life then just cut out what they think is okay to be cut out, rather than here’s the scenes na gagawin lang natin. Hehe! In that way, pag may DVD, dun nila ilagay yung buong scenes. LOL

Imagination ko nga naman. Haha!

and i couldn’t agree with you more with your twilight review. esp. with the house of the cullens. While reading the book, i was imagining a white mansion. as in mansion talaga. and not THAT.

goolluck for the subject.yes i agree time went so fast and christmas is near wiihh..about twilight well i agree all of those haha especially the cutted scene remember the one in biology class when bella fainted grr it was not in the movie.Rosalie in the movie is bitchy i agree too,,Emmett is hot there aahahaha and alice.Aw december is a bit busy for you goodluck..

School IS pretty fast. Even I, am surprised! :0

Aw noisy blocks. If the block that you’re gonna be in in that subject turns out to be noisy, just do you very best! Don’t let them distract you. That;s right! Be serious! (well at times when SERIOUS is really needed hehe)

Being productive is hard. I bet most people would bum around christmas vacation

Oops I skipped the Twilight thing. I’m gonna watch it tonight. Haha. I’m happy you gave it a 4/5 though.
