Graphika Manila and Switchfoot concert tickets Ooh, look! Tickets! One of them (white one) is for the event I’ll be attending tomorrow after school called Graphika Manila. Basically it’s a conference/convention for Multimedia Artists of all types, whether you are a Multimedia Artist for real, newbie or an enthusiast. Hopefully I can learn something from this tomorrow because I’ll be at the Mall of Asia for almost 10 hours tomorrow! It’s the first time that I would be attending an event like this because I’ve only heard of it now. I’m excited as well because I’m going with my online friends, so I’m hoping that me and Alexa would meet up so I can have a buddy to go with, cause it’d be boring if I would go there by myself. And also I’m hoping to meet/see Sherica and Anne Kate. Problem is, I don’t know where the Centerstage is located at Mall Of Asia. I was there during our four-hour break at school earlier and I tried to look for it, sadly I didn’t find it. Ok, so I’m nervous about getting lost tomorrow. Well, that was embarrassing.

The other yellow ticket is for Switchfoot’s concert here in Manila on my birthday!! Yep, Switchfoot’s gonna be here on my birthday and they don’t even know it! It’s on September 10 btw! While on our way back from Mall Of Asia, the taxi driver passed by Cuneta Astrodome (where the concert will be held) and ick, my friend Kharl was right because.. the place looks bad! Oh my God! ) Cross your fingers for me and wish that the event will go on smoothly, and for me to enjoy it! Alexa’s going as well but she’s gonna be on the Moshpit area. Gargggh, I didn’t bought the moshpit tickets because I didn’t think it’d be safe enough, better be safe than be on the pit! Besides, the last pit I’ve enjoyed was from Linkin Park’s 2004 concert in Manila! I would’ve gotten myself a drumstick from Rob Bourdon if it weren’t for me stupidness.

I’m turning 18 next month as well, on my birthday. :yay: So far our plans would be to go out of town for at least 4 days, then watch Switchfoot’s concert (yeah I bought tickets really early! 2 months early actually), then to end it.. Treat my HS friends to a house party next weekend after that. Unfortunantly due to the number of suspended classes this August, I believe our real Term Break is yet to be finalized. T___T First it was from September 4-11 (Perfect! I thought to myself, T___T) then it got moved to September 6-12 and then I realized that during that break, I’d have to go to school and pay for my 2nd term tuition fee. Wished there was an option that we can pay for everything (1 year) in one day, what a hassle. So what now? What will happen to my plans? My parents are getting frustrated, they probabaly don’t understand the fact that dates matter in College, unlike in High School.

Not much to talk about.. My first term with the school is about to finish. Everything’s going well, I hope. I’ve received my midterm grades as well and they’re alright, no failing grades here, Ma! ) Finals are coming by the last week of August and course cards will be released on the 6th of September. Time sure runs fast don’t you think? Or maybe because I’m on a school that uses a trimester system? Nevertheless, I like every second I spend at school and wouldn’t have it either way.

Btw, since my last update, my laptop was moved to my room! So I’ve been enjoying the life for quite sometime now. We also bought an Apple Airport Express so I can so wireless around the house! I even bring my laptop to the bathroom, no, I’m just kidding. Yep, there’s the new HP book and it’s still unread, by the way.
What’s up with Firefox crashing?! Gotta end this before it crashes and loses my post.

Anna the gig girl Hahaha. Not really a big fan of Switchfoot but it’s amazing they get to go to Manila. After all, one of their members are Filipino right? If I’m not mistaken.

Congrats on your non-failing grades and good luck on your 18th, not getting lost and being in the concert!

Good Lord. You just reminded me of one of my biggest regrets ever. NOT ATTENDING GRAPHIKA MANILA. Anyway, I hope you did enjoy your time on the event. You have a knack for multimedia arts, so I’m sure you did. Haha.

No failing mark. Niiice. I envy you. Teehee. Hope the next term for us will be as good as the first one. :bravo:

By the way, I hope you will enjoy the Switchfoot concert, especially that it will take place on your birthday. Party time! :dance:
